Types of plastic injection moulding machine

Plastic injection moulding machine which is also called as an injection press, is used for producing plastic products. This can only be done with the help of injection moulding process. Many things are made from this process which are the plastic products such as mechanical parts, chairs and tables, big and small storage containers, combs, automotive parts and components, bottle caps, and wire, tape or thread spools. There are mainly five types of Injection moulding machines and they are given as follows:

Hydraulic Injection moulding machine

Prices of Hydraulic machines are remarkably cheaper than the others. It is lower in cost and not much hard to find if you want to replace the damaged machine parts. They are very long lasting and machine parts are repellent against wear and tear which increases its life span. It has extraordinary pressing force, making it stronger.

Mechanical Injection moulding machine

This machine uses toggle switches for systems forming the tonnage on the bracket. Tonnage is necessary for all the machines because clamp side can only be opened without the injection stress. It creates beam in the plastic if the machine is half opened up.

Electric Injection moulding machine
It is also referred as an electric press which cuts down running costs by minimizing the energy consumption which also helps to maintain balanced non-hazardous environment. They are fast, noiseless and have great accuracy. Thus, the electrical machines are expensive than Hydraulic and Mechanical machines. It was developed in 1980 and from that time onwards it became famous. It only uses energy when it is being used which saves the motor load. The expenses are very less because oil doesn't leak and thus, it saves the filters from being replaced. No manual power is needed because the process works digitally. Electric press parts should be made in sterile places.

Pneumatic Injection moulding machine

It uses the air pressure for rising up the tonnage on the machine. It is also called as “Servo-Hydraulic” moulding machine. It uses same amount of electricity similar to electric machine, relying on the producer.

Hybrid Injection Moulding Machines
It is less costly and can be used for medical purposes. Its prices are less than Hydraulic and electric moulding machine which makes it a reasonable option. It requires low maintenance than other injection moulding machines.
